I’m Honor, a ceramicist from the South East of England. I love the tangible quality of working with clay, and find the absorbing nature of ceramics to be both a comfort and distraction in harder times. I am drawn to simple functional forms that can be both pieces of art and objects of daily use.
In an increasingly technology oriented world, I enjoy the rich history of ceramics, and believe that preserving and celebrating traditional crafts is vital. I enjoy locating and processing ‘wild’ clay, as well as raw wool, and am currently working on combining the two in my creative practices.
